Our upcoming events
Christmas Celebrations
Christmas starts early here at Little Learners - with trees to adorn, decorations to make, carols to sing and move to, and letters for Santa Claus to post, Christmas time is a joyous, exciting period for children and grown-ups alike. We just wish that little elf wasn’t so messy… or cheeky!
Halloween
Halloween is more ‘Fun-er-een’ at Little Learners, with loads of costumes, face-painting and themed games throughout the week. It doesn’t matter if you’re a spindly-spider, a wacky-witch, a sprightly-skeleton or a proud-pumpkin, every creature with two or more legs is welcome to join in (sorry snakes, but you’re definitely NOT invited!).
Bookweek!
We love Bookweek at Little Learners! With loads of fun, literature-inspired activities and everyone dressing as their favourite heroes (or villians) from the pages of our favourite books, it’s a yearly celebration not to be missed.
Annual Pirate Day
Each year, we love dressing up to raise awareness (and much-needed funds) for childhood brain cancer research via the Kids' Cancer Project’s Pirate Day. The day is set aside for treasure hunting, walking the plank and practicing our “Argh-Arghs”, with loads of fun and giggles along the way!
Easter Celebrations
The Easter Bunny is celebrated with lots of special festivities that culminate in a joyous Easter Hat Parade eagerly watched by family and friends alike!
Schools’ Clean Up Day
With gloves on and bags at the ready, we annually participate in the Schools Clean Up Day to learn about the impact of rubbish on our local environment and to experience playing an active role in our community!
The ‘Hear Our Heart Bus Project’ Visits
We regularly welcome the wonderful volunteers from The Hear Our Heart Ear Bus Project who offer free hearing testing and ear health checks, as well as providing highly valuable contributions to our health education program… with the help of their much-loved puppet friends!
